We offer same-day service for many smaller projects like dining chairs. Most sofa and sectional work completes within 2-3 weeks, depending on fabric availability and project complexity. Vehicle interior projects typically take 1-2 weeks. Contact us with photos and details for a specific timeline.
Marine-grade fabrics are engineered to resist moisture, UV damage, and heavy wear. They're denser and more durable than typical upholstery, making them ideal for high-traffic furniture, vehicles, and anything exposed to sun or moisture. The investment pays off in longevity and appearance.

Serving Fort Lauderdale
Fort Lauderdale runs on water. The New River corridor and the yards along State Road 84 form one of the largest marine service clusters in the country, and that shapes what comes through our door from this city. Boat owners need seating, cushions, and cabin panels that survive salt spray and UV. Away from the water, downtown and Victoria Park high-rises are full of condos where owners refresh sofas and dining sets rather than replace them, because getting new furniture up a service elevator is its own project. Along Las Olas and Sunrise Boulevard we see restaurant and office seating that wears out on a commercial schedule. Vehicles here spend their lives in open lots and street parking, so cracked dashes and faded door panels are routine.
Areas of Fort Lauderdale we serve
- Las Olas Boulevard
- New River and the marine industry district
- Fort Lauderdale Beach
- Downtown high-rise condo corridor
Why Fort Lauderdale customers need this work
Salt air and unshaded sun are brutal on upholstery in Fort Lauderdale, and the difference between marine-grade and standard material shows within a season or two. Boats docked along the New River and the intracoastal need UV-resistant vinyl with waterproof backing, not decorative fabric. Condo owners downtown often want to keep a well-built frame and change the fabric instead of hauling a new sectional through a building. And with so many vehicles parked outside year-round, interior restoration on steering wheels, seats, and door panels is a steady part of what we do for Fort Lauderdale customers.
Recent work in the Fort Lauderdale area

- 02.Sectionals reupholstered for downtown Fort Lauderdale condo owners

Why Choose El ingeniero upholstery for Upholstery in Fort Lauderdale
Fort Lauderdale is a boat town, and marine upholstery is where a lot of our Fort Lauderdale work starts. Cabin seating, helm chairs, and cockpit cushions take constant salt, sun, and foot traffic, and standard fabric does not survive it. We also cover the everyday side of Fort Lauderdale: condo sofas, dining chairs, and vehicle interiors baked by years of parking outdoors. Our Davie shop is a short run down I-595, so pickup and drop-off is simple.
Fort Lauderdale customers choose us because we treat every project like it's our own — no upselling, no surprises, just straightforward work that gets the job done right.
Whether you live in Fort Lauderdale or just need a reliable team nearby, we're a short drive from Davie and happy to walk you through every recommendation before any work begins.
Fort Lauderdale has plenty of marine canvas shops that only touch boats and furniture shops that will not go near a vehicle. We do furniture, autos, and marine work under one roof with the same marine-grade materials, so one call covers the boat cushions and the living room sofa. Our Davie shop is roughly twenty minutes from most of Fort Lauderdale by I-595, which keeps pickup and delivery practical on large pieces. You get an honest assessment up front, no pressure to replace what can be restored, and pricing explained before the staple gun comes out.
