We offer same-day service for many smaller projects like dining chairs. Most sofa and sectional work completes within 2-3 weeks, depending on fabric availability and project complexity. Vehicle interior projects typically take 1-2 weeks. Contact us with photos and details for a specific timeline.
Marine-grade fabrics are engineered to resist moisture, UV damage, and heavy wear. They're denser and more durable than typical upholstery, making them ideal for high-traffic furniture, vehicles, and anything exposed to sun or moisture. The investment pays off in longevity and appearance.

Serving Plantation
Plantation is one of the older established suburbs in central Broward, built out long before the western sprawl, and its housing stock reflects that. Neighborhoods around Jacaranda and Plantation Acres have large homes with formal living and dining rooms, which means bigger sofas, full dining chair sets, and inherited furniture that people want restored rather than replaced. The Midtown office corridor along Broward Boulevard and the medical offices near Plantation General bring commercial seating work. Plantation Acres on the west side keeps horses and larger lots, so outdoor and patio cushions in custom sizes are common. Mature tree canopy in older Plantation neighborhoods gives furniture a little more shade than in newer developments, but humidity still does its work.

- Westfield Broward mall area
- Plantation Acres
- Jacaranda Country Club neighborhoods
Why Plantation customers need this work
The value in Plantation is in the frames. Furniture built twenty or thirty years ago used hardwood joinery that beats most of what you can buy new at the same price, so reupholstery is usually the better call than replacement. That is why sofa and sectional work and antique restoration make up most of what comes to us from Plantation. Formal dining rooms mean sets of six or eight chairs, where consistent fabric matching across the set matters. Larger Plantation Acres properties add patio and outdoor cushion fabrication, where we push outdoor-grade and marine-grade material for the sun and rain.
Recent work in the Plantation area
- 01.Full dining chair sets recovered with matched fabric across six to eight chairs
- 02.Hardwood-frame sofas and sectionals reupholstered instead of replaced
- 03.Inherited and antique chairs restored with period-appropriate materials
Why Choose El ingeniero upholstery for Upholstery in Plantation
Plantation homes tend to have furniture worth saving. A lot of what we see from Plantation is solid hardwood-frame seating from the 80s and 90s that outlasted its fabric, plus estate and inherited pieces people do not want to part with. We recover sofas, sectionals, dining sets, and antique chairs, and we handle vehicle interiors too. Our Davie shop is about fifteen minutes south, so drop-off, pickup, and delivery are easy to arrange.
Plantation customers choose us because we treat every project like it's our own — no upselling, no surprises, just straightforward work that gets the job done right.
Whether you live in Plantation or just need a reliable team nearby, we're a short drive from Davie and happy to walk you through every recommendation before any work begins.
Plantation customers are usually deciding between buying new and restoring what they have. We give a straight answer on that. If a frame is not worth the labor we will say so, and if it is we will show you why the joinery beats a new import. We do fabric matching across full dining sets, which is where a lot of shops get sloppy, and we handle delicate antique work without modernizing the piece. Our Davie location is a short drive down University or Pine Island, so scheduling pickup for a large sectional does not turn into a logistics problem.
